5 Way Pole Depth Guide

Use thumb as a guide to the depth when inserting pole into the pass through hole.

Stuck Pole

If a pole seems stuck in a connector due to temperature contraction
use a clamp on the pole to enable better grip to pull it out.

Gloves are provided in two sizes. Always use them when handling the framework.

When removing poles from connectors grip the pole with the fingers and push against the connector with the thumb. This is the easiest and most efficient way.

Hubs such as used in the Cinderella Coach are made up with two 5 Way connectors back to back and held at 45 degrees by using two clamps as shown in the illustrations below.

Flexibility

During assembly sculptures may seem to flex and wobble. Don’t be concerned with this.They will gain full strenth on completion. Sculptures are intended to flex to allow them to resist wind damage. In addition once you have dressed with your lighting the cables will prevent poles from pulling out of connectors in extemely windy conditions.
