The Christmas Star stands 175cm high and is a simple yet beautiful design. It takes about 45 minutes to make with lights. It can be a stand alone item. Attached to a wall or fence or add a couple of clamped support poles and stand it on the floor. If you have a pitched gable it is a design looks amazing if fitted to the centre of the gable. It utilises the Cinderella Coach wheel hub that is explained on the techniques page.
This design is flat (one dimensional) This simplifies the lighting. You can simply line out as seen in the image above by following the poles or fill out completely. It inspires you to explore your own designs, such as other stars, circles, crosses etc..
If using normal string lights they can be wrapped around the poles. The images show line out ribbon lights which are better clipped to the poles.
