Borders System

The Borders System can be made with both the full kit and the 3/4 kit. It offers you the opportunity to create a totally bespoke border for your outdoor garden display.

You can surround your garden such as in the first image below. You can follow drives and pathways and have the choice of 5 different designs for each of the 70cm sections. Add stars to the tops of trees, or create fireworks. 

There are two basic frames. A flat border frame that would go, for example, along the back of a  garden display and viewed directly from the front. And a side border frame, which can be used for the sides of gardens or down wider pathways and drives. The side border frame displays the designs at a 45 degree angle so that it is easier to see the designs from the front. A bit like the wings of a theatre stage.

The two frame options allow you to add any of the 5 designs included in the instructions to either the side or flat frame. You can choose the combination and work out how many
of each you can repeat depending on your kit and combination.
If your garden has curves or is a corner plot with a rounded border you can follow these curves by using the hinge formers shown in the instructions. 

An important part of the Borders System is the understanding of the relationship between the string lights and the framework. Unlike many of the other designs and Sculptures you
can make with Festive Frames, The Border System requires that you create shapes using the frame as support but not neccesarily following the framework poles. For example the trees 
seen in the images and the circle frame stars.  This method means you can stretch your kit further and cuts down on construction time. 

By adding hinge formers to the corners the sides can be set at any angle to the flat back meaning you can splay the sides outwards. This creates a very large display very quickly and is totally uniquie to your own choice. 

The 5 design options are :  Tree - Circle Frame Star (2 sizes) - Firework -Snowman - Scroll
We have not included a components total because every display can be different however there are component totals for each section that you can use to work out what you can
make with your kit and there is a table at the end of the right side instructions showing all component counts

Combinations shown in images can be made with the Full Kit 

The  3/4 kit has enough components for a small amount of sections.
